Alice Carbone Tench

Alice Carbone Tench is an Italian-born and raised writer, journalist, and culinary expert based in Los Angeles. Co-hosting Now That We Think About It, Alice draws on her background in literature to foster rich, deeply empathetic dialogue. She brings a unique perspective on American culture to the table, heavily influenced by her experience with recovery, Buddhist philosophy, and a lifelong practice of self-inquiry and curiosity.

Her deeply personal writing includes the celebrated memoir Eating Again: The Recipes That Healed Me, essays featured in international publications like Vanity Fair Italy, and her regular writing on Substack. She lives in LA with her husband and daughter.

Allison Larkin

Allison Larkin is an internationally bestselling novelist whose emotional, human-centric storytelling has won over fiction fans worldwide. She is the author of The People We Keep, Home of the American Circus, Swimming for Sunlight, Stay, and Why Can't I Be You. Her short fiction and contemporary essays have been featured in The Summerset Review, Slice Magazine, Writer’s Digest Books, and the popular dog anthology I'm Not the Biggest Bitch in This Relationship.

Allison brings her unique neurodivergent perspective, a deep sense of empathy, and a keen, observant interest in human behavior to every episode. Originally a New Yorker, she now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and their beloved rescue dogs, Roxy and Bosley.
